SCOTLAND REJECTS TORY/LIBDEM NHS PLANS

 

Commenting on the Tory/LibDem government’s Health White Paper for England, SNP MSP Dr Ian McKee – a member of the Scottish Parliament’s Health Committee – said:

 

“This is an expensive prescription for yet more postcode health care in England – and it is welcome that the SNP Scottish Government is pursuing a better, more efficient healthcare policy for all the people of Scotland.

 

“The UK Government’s disruptive and ideologically-driven experimentation is the very last thing the Scottish NHS needs – it is also a clear indication of what the Tories and Lib Dems would do to the Scottish health service if they were given the chance.”
