NORTH EAST MPs SADNESS AT HELICOPTER TRAGEDY.

North East SNP MPs have expressed sadness at news of the deaths of crew and passengers on board a helicopter which ditched in the North Sea today (Thursday).
SNP Westminster leader, and Moray MP, Angus Robertson said:
“This is a desperate tragedy, and our immediate thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who have been lost.
“I am certain that the Air Accidents Investigation Branch and local agencies will already be at work to establish the cause of this dreadful incident.”

MP for Angus, Mike Weir, said:
“All our thoughts are with the families who have lost loved ones in this awful tragedy.

“Everyone in the North-east knows someone who works offshore and the whole community will be shaken by this terrible accident.”
