"CASH FOR LAWS" SCANDAL LATEST SNP NEWS EXCLUSIVE.

CASH FOR LAWS MAKES LORDS "UNSUSTAINABLE".

"UNELECTED, UNACCOUNTABLE AND UNBELIEVABLE".

The MP who instigated the investigation into the Cash for Peerages scandal
has called for a full independent investigation into allegations members
of the House of Lords have accepted money in order to ensure legislation
is changed to favour business interests as he branded the Lords
"unsustainable".

Commenting on the revelations in the Sunday Times SNP MP Angus MacNeil who
represents Na H-Eileanen an Iar said;

“The House of Lords is unelected, unaccountable and now completely
unbelievable.

“These revelations make the House of Lords completely unsustainable.

“There must be a full independent investigation by Standards authorities
into these claims and a complete and immediate end to political
consultancy by members of the Lords.

“Unfortunately it is no surprise to find that members of the House of
Lords are more interested in helping big business than protecting the
public interest.”
