TRICIA MARWICK SNP MSP COMMENTS ON GLENROTHES MARKED-UP REGISTERS.
Commenting on the report into the loss of the Glenrothes by-election marked-up electoral registers from Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court SNP MSP for Central Fife Tricia Marwick said:
“This is a huge disappointment. After a month long investigation we still do not know how or when these important documents went missing.
“Given that it is a ‘rare event’ I would have thought some answers would have been forthcoming.
“We are no further forward than we were when we found out these documents went missing.
“The fact remains this is the first ever time the register has disappeared and no-one can tell us why.
“Questions remain unanswered and in the absence of these documents it is impossible for anyone to say if this was a fair or unfair election. "
