DAVE DODGES MANIFESTO MAULING
CAMERON NO SHOW AT OWN POLICY LAUNCH
Commenting on Conservative Leader David Cameron's failure to make it to
the launch on the Scottish Conservative Manifesto, SNP candidate for Perth
and North Perthshire, Pete Wishart said:
"It doesn't bode well for the Tories' respect agenda that their London
leader doesn't care enough about Scotland to get on a train.
"The Scottish Tories have put forward a manifesto with headline
commitments that simply push for policies the SNP Scottish Government has
already delivered.
"With nothing new to offer, perhaps Mr Cameron was concerned his cuts
agenda which would see spending on Scottish services slashed would be
exposed if he ventured north of the border."
