QUESTIONS CONTINUE FOR GLASGOW LABOUR

QUESTIONS CONTINUE FOR GLASGOW LABOUR

The SNP candidate for Glasgow East John Mason today said the questions
facing Labour in Glasgow were not going away after newspaper reports that
a councillor has been quizzed by the police over corruption and drug
allegations.

Mr Mason said:

“Again this city is faced with further allegations of wrongdoing in
Glasgow. The questions facing Labour are not going away.

“It’s time to clean up Glasgow and to bring this drip-drip of damaging
allegations to an end with an independent investigation.

“The call from the First Minister for an investigation into actions at the
City Council is never more relevant.”
