What: SNP Cabinet Secretaries will join Dundee East and West candidates,
Stewart Hosie and Jim Barrie to highlight the importance of electing local
champions to protect against the impact of the London cuts on Scotland’s
frontline services.

Gathering in Dundee, prior to the launch of the SNP's manifesto on
Tuesday, the SNP pledged to protect Scotland's frontline services as they
urged voters to elect more SNP MPs, as only more Nats will mean less cuts
in a balanced parliament.

Commenting, SNP Depute Leader Nicola Sturgeon said:

"The cosy cuts consensus of the London parties is a massive threat to
Scotland’s vital public services.

"All three London parties have confirmed they plan deeper, tougher and
savage cuts to Scotland's budget. We will all have to pay the price of
Labour's debts but with a strong team of local champions from the SNP at
Westminster, working with our team in Government at Holyrood a vote for
the SNP can help protect Scotland's services from these devastating cuts.

"With a balanced parliament, the issues that matter most to the people
here will come centre stage. The tide of this election is now moving
towards Scotland. Scotland can be the real winner of this election with
the SNP."
