SNP TO LAUNCH COMMUNITY CHARTER

SNP TO LAUNCH COMMUNITY CHARTER

When: 1000 Saturday 17th April 2010

Where: Tradeston Bridge, Glasgow (Clyde Street)

The SNP will today (Saturday) launch a Community Charter, a contract
between SNP candidates and the communities they are working to represent.

The charter will be launched by SNP Depute leader and Scotland’s Deputy
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and John Mason on the banks of the Clyde.

Ahead of the launch SNP candidate for Glasgow East John Mason said:

“The London parties are all part of the same metropolitan machine and they
have all let Scotland’s communities down.

“At this election we don’t need more of the same, we need strong local
champions.

“SNP candidates will sign a contract with the voters to fight for local
services and to set the highest possible standards of service and
commitment to their communities.”
