LIB DEM ATTACK BACKFIRES ON TAVISH

Commenting on the salaries of senior members of the public sector and the Lib Dem’s misguided attack on the SNP Government Highlands MSP Dave Thompson said:

“As we face a recession members of the public will expect any Government or local authority to take great care of taxpayers money.

“Unfortunately for the Lib Dem’s Tavish Scott’s attempts to blame the SNP have backfired badly as lavish Tavish's Lib Dem administration signed off bonus after bonus.

“The salaries or bonus structure for Scottish Water, Scottish Enterprise and Visit Scotland were all agreed under the previous Liberal Democrat and Labour administration.

“In fact whether it was Tavish Scot, George Lyon or their former Labour colleagues the responsibility for this payment structure lies firmly at their door.”
