EMBARRASSMENT FOR JUVENILE A-LIST TORY CANDIDATE
PERTHSHIRE NEEDS AN EXPERIENCED LOCAL CHAMPION
Commenting on the publication of embarrassing photos of the Tory candidate for Perth & North Perthshire in the Daily Record today the SNP candidate, Mr Pete Wishart, said:
"This is an embarrassing example of some pretty juvenile and puerile behaviour, and the people of Perthshire will rightly be questioning the credentials and judgement of the Conservative candidate and his supposed promotion as an A-list candidate.
"Coming on top of Mr Lyburn's previous criticism of the Scottish Tory leadership and Tory infighting over his selection as a candidate, the Conservative campaign in Perth and North Perthshire is rapidly going from bad to worse.
"What I have found on the doorsteps is that the people of Perth and North Perthshire want an experienced local champion that will provide a first class service and fight on their behalf.
"Perth and North Perthshire is a straight fight between the SNP and the Tories and it is only by voting SNP that the Tories can be kept out."
