TORIES HAVE THEIR HEADS IN THE CLOUDS IN SCOTLAND

TORIES HAVE THEIR HEADS IN THE CLOUDS IN SCOTLAND
SCOTLAND CAN’T BE BOUGHT WITH COSTLY STUNTS SNP Business Convener and Minister for Parliament, Bruce Crawford MSP, has hit out at William Hague’s whistle-stop helicopter tour of Scotland. Mr Hague is to visit 11 constituencies, including Stirling , where Mr Crawford is the sitting Member of the Scottish Parliament. Commenting Mr Crawford said: “William Hague can fly around in circles all day if he wants, we’re on the ground talking to local people and working for local communities.” “The Tories have never respected Scotland, and most likely never will. The people of Stirling won’t be impressed with this stunt, paid for by Ashcroft’s millions, they know the Tories have no respect for Scotland, no trust for Scotland and no future in Scotland. SNP Parliamentary Candidate for Stirling, Alison Lindsay said: “Just last week David Cameron admitted that the Conservatives won’t get anywhere in Scotland. If the Tories think throwing money at crazy stunts like this will change people’s minds they must really have their heads in the clouds. “ The real fight on May 6th is not the phoney war between Labour and Tory - the tweedledum and tweedledee of politics. Both plan massive cuts for Scotland and on the doorsteps people want someone to fight against these cuts and stand up for their communities – only the SNP will champion Scotland’s interests at Westminster."
