TORY CUTS THREATEN PUBLIC SERVICES

TORY CUTS THREATEN PUBLIC SERVICES

ONLY MORE NATS WILL MEAN LESS CUTS

The SNP today mocked Tory claims they would save money for the public
sector through their tax plans after it was revealed yesterday that the
Tories plan to cut not just Scottish spending, but Scotland's share of
spending, in a £1 billion smash and grab raid.

Commenting SNP Treasury spokesman Stewart Hosie MP said:

"Every day the Tories make it clearer that what Scotland needs at this
election is more SNP MPs, because only more Nats will mean less cuts.

"The Tories' policy on Scottish spending is utterly incoherent.

"Just 24 hours after it was revealed they plan a smash and grab raid on
Scotland, inflicting the same tougher and deeper cuts planned by Labour,
they say they are supporting Scotland's public sector.

"Scotland doesn't trust George Osbourne and these false claims will get
the Tories no where.

"At this election voters across Scotland will have the chance to elect
strong local SNP champions for their communities and their public
services."
