First Minister Alex Salmond will launch the Scottish National Party's
campaign as the first full week of the general election gets underway.
Mr Salmond will deliver a keynote speech setting out the party's key
election themes and how SNP MPs would put people back at the heart of
Parliament as effective local and national champions.
NOTES
1. Mr Salmond will be available for broadcast interviews from 11h15
until midday.
2. The leisure complex, David Lloyd Edinburgh Newhaven Harbour sits in
the new Western Harbour development, extending north into the Firth of
Forth from Newhaven.
3. The venue is within the Edinburgh North and Leith constituency.
4. Reserved parking adjacent to the Forthside Car Wash is provided for
satellite trucks.
5. MCL Scotland will assist broadcasters with technical requirements
on-site on behalf of the SNP.
