IS JIM MURPHY ASHAMED OF HIS PARTY AND LEADER?
IS JIM MURPHY ASHAMED OF HIS PARTY AND LEADER?
Commenting on the story in today's Sun which reveals that Labour's Scottish Secretary Jim Murphy has not mentioned Gordon Brown or the Labour party in an election advert in a local paper in his constituency, the SNP candidate for East Renfrewshire Gordon Archer said:
"It's astonishing but very, very revealing that Jim Murphy doesn't want to mention his party or his leader in this election advert. It is an example of the spin by machine politicians that puts people off politics and voting.
SNP election campaign co-ordinator Stewart Hosie MP said:
"Scotland needs local and national champions with more SNP MPs - not typical politicians too afraid to admit what party they belong to or ashamed of who their party leader is. East Renfrewshire can have such a local champion in Gordon Archer who isn't ashamed of his party or leader."
