In today’s Sunday Times, Labour peer and MSP Lord Foulkes has launched an astonishing attack on the integrity of BBC Scotland, including ill-judged comments on individual presenters. Commenting on the attack SNP Westminster Broadcasting spokesperson Pete Wishart MP said: article

”The SNP’s best recruiting Sergeant, Lord George Foulkes has launched another of his boomerang attacks.

“This is an unwarranted tired and emotional attack on the professionalism and integrity of BBC Scotland and their staff.

“Lord George is always a figure of fun, especially at Christmas time, and his ill-judged comments will heap yet more embarrassment on the Labour party.

“Lord George is in blunder-land again and his injudicious criticism of individual BBC Scotland presenters is completely unacceptable.”
