PHONEY WAR BETWEEN UK PARTIES OFFERS SCOTLAND NOTHING

PHONEY WAR BETWEEN UK PARTIES OFFERS SCOTLAND NOTHING

LONDON SOUND AND FURY IRRELEVANT TO SCOTTISH VOTERS

Commenting on the on debate between Labour and the Conservatives over the
future of health boards, SNP Constitutional Affairs Spokesperson, Pete
Wishart MP said:

"The sound and fury emerging from Westminster underlines precisely
how irrelevant this election has already become for the people of
Scotland. Today has seen wall-to-wall discussions which have no bearing on
the future of the NHS in Scotland.

"This is a UK wide election - but the London parties are paying no heed to
the differences between the devolved nations and England.

"Scotland and Scotland's future should be at the centre of this election
but only the SNP are prepared to put it there.

"While the London Parties bicker amongst themselves, SNP MPs are
Scotland's champions - standing up for the issues that really matter to
the people of Scotland."
