SNP HIT THE STREETS ON EUROPE DAY Figures from a recent YouGov poll show the SNP is the party most people trust to stand up for Scotland's interests. The SNP is today marking Europe Day (May 9th) with a National Day of Action across the country - taking our European message to the people of Scotland in advance of the European elections on June 4th. Commenting, SNP Party President and European Candidate, Ian Hudghton MEP said: "The SNP is the only party offering a strong voice for Scotland in Europe and these figures show that it is only the SNP that can be trusted to put Scotland's communities first. "Working together as a country and as a Government we've got what it takes to protect Scottish jobs and to work for economic recovery. "Only an SNP voice in Europe will put Scotland's economy and Scotland's industries at the forefront of European debate and see Scottish issues represented in Europe. "As we move into the European campaign it is increasingly clear that the more SNP MEPs returned to the European Parliament in June, the louder this voice will be."
