WHO WILL WIN THE GLASGOW NORTH EAST BY-ELECTION?

WHO WILL WIN THE GLASGOW NORTH EAST BY-ELECTION?

SNP SUPPORT DOUBLES IN GLASGOW NORTH EAST.

SNP Westminster leader and party Business Convener, Angus Robertson MP, has welcomed an opinion poll of intentions in Glasgow North East showing that, before a by-election campaign has even started, support for the SNP has already doubled.

The Sunday Times survey of 517 people put Labour on 51% and the SNP on
33%.

An ICM poll just 10 days out from the SNP’s famous victory in
Glasgow East last year had the SNP on an identical footing.

Mr Robertson said:
"This is an excellent poll for the SNP - before a by-election campaign has even started, we have doubled our support in Glasgow North East, and have already achieved the same level of support as we had in Glasgow East just 10 days before that by-election.

"There should be an early General Election, but if there is a by-election it will be a clear two-horse race between the SNP and Labour, and the SNP will work hard to earn the trust of the people."
